An ink-driven movie-poster concept inspired by the ambiguity of a Rorschach test.

The brief

Create a mysterious poster that hints at the film’s creature without immediately revealing it. The original brief explored how different viewers might read the same unsettling shape.

01 / THE IDEA

A monster in the ink.

The film’s creature changes how it is perceived. I connected that idea to a Rorschach test: an ambiguous image that invites the viewer to project meaning into it. The illustration can read as an inkblot and as a face at the same time.

02 / THE PROCESS

Begin with the hand.

I chose ink for its dark, graphic character. After developing illustrations that held the right balance of symmetry and uncertainty, I brought them into Photoshop to refine color and imperfections.

03 / THE APPLICATION

Let the image do the work.

The final poster concepts use black space, restrained typography and a concentrated red image. The project extends the visual idea into premiere materials and presentation mockups, keeping the unsettling illustration at the center.
